Creating your custom matches is simple.

At For Matches, we offer two ways to personalize your order:

Customize one of our existing designs or create your own design from a blank product.

Please choose the option that works best for your event, brand, or personal style.

Option 1: Customize an Existing Design

Best for customers who like one of our ready-made designs and only need to change the personalized details.

Choose a product with an existing design, then submit the custom information needed for that design.

This may include:

  • Names or initials
  • Wedding date or event date
  • Short messages or quotes
  • Photos or portraits
  • Logos or brand details
  • Event information or location

After you submit your order, we will use your custom details to update the selected design and prepare it for production.

How It Works

Step 1: Choose Your Product

Select the match product you like, such as a matchbox, matchbook, or bottled matches.

For this option, the product already includes a design style or template.

Step 2: Enter Your Custom Details

Fill in the required personalization information on the product page.

Please make sure all names, dates, spelling, and details are correct before submitting your order.

Step 3: We Prepare Your Custom Design

Our team will update the existing design using the information you provided.

Your order will be produced based on the custom details submitted with your order.

Step 4: Production & Shipping

Once your design is ready for production, we will print, prepare, and ship your custom matches.

Option 2: Create Your Own Design

Best for customers who want full creative control and prefer to design from a blank product.

Choose a blank match product and create your own custom design using your artwork, logo, text, or images.

You may personalize the product by:

  • Uploading your own finished design file
  • Adding your own artwork, logo, or photo
  • Using our online design tool
  • Placing text, names, dates, or messages freely
  • Creating a layout that fits your event or brand style

This option allows you to design a truly one-of-a-kind custom match product.

How It Works

Step 1: Choose a Blank Product

Select the blank match product you want to customize.

This may include matchboxes, matchbooks, bottled matches, or other available match styles.

Step 2: Upload or Create Your Design

Upload your own design file directly, or use our online design tool to create your design on the product.

You can adjust the layout, add text, place images, and design within the available customization area.

Step 3: Review Your Design Carefully

Before submitting your order, please review your design carefully.

Check that all elements are correct, including:

  • Spelling and punctuation
  • Names, dates, and messages
  • Image quality and placement
  • Logo or artwork position
  • Design size and alignment
  • Product options and quantity

Your order will be produced based on the design you submit.

Step 4: Production & Shipping

After your order is submitted, we will produce your custom matches according to your final design.

Once production is complete, your order will be packed and shipped to you.

  • Avoid placing important details too close to the edge
  • Double-check spelling before submitting your order
